Releases from 1.12.19! A couple hit tracks dropped at the top of the year. This week’s drops are from J-Fuze and singer Bucksii. Check them out!
J-Fuze – How It Is
“How It Is,” is a raw and glaring painting, as we get a firsthand perspective on the “rapper’s rapper” J-Fuze’s take on society at large. The track definitely shows where his mind is, as he pokes at the ideas of the state of rap, the state of government relations, and the state of his native city, Baltimore, Maryland. While building momentum throughout the track, J-Fuze creates a scene of orchestrated chaos, brazen delivery, and an array of thoughts. He collabs with artist Chop Johnson, a familar name from past projects. His audience anticipate him finishing the more intriguing thoughts that surpass the egotistical, and savor those that stick to the ribs. Press play.
Bucksii – 4Play
As Bucksii opens this track, his mindset is clear, “Baby girl, I’m on a mission.” He provides pleasurable listening while simultaneously executing the R&B formula: sound, romance, and submission.
It’s as if he made this song with the crowd in mind; a smooth and catchy hook, that throbs to the rhythm like the heartbeat of the track. Some could he say he plays it safe as he does not display the vocal capability that we at OUT40 knows he has, but as he says, “it’s a vibe.” Certainly he knows what he’s doing, and he does it very well as gets straight to the point and delivers. We want more. Listen here.
