More Than a Father hosted Daddy Do’s at Best Kept Secrets Hair Salon, a hands-on hair care and parenting workshop designed to support fathers and father figures in building stronger connections with their daughters. Dads were provided with practical hair care guidance from professionals while creating a welcoming space for conversations about confidence, trust, and active fatherhood.
Held as part of the City of Frederick’s THRIVE initiative, Daddy Do’s focused on creating meaningful family experiences that strengthen relationships between caregivers and youth. Participants learned skills they could carry home while sharing a memorable experience centered on encouragement, bonding, and community support.
