On March 20, 2025, the Frederick Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. (NBPW) proudly celebrated Women’s History Month by hosting seven incredible authors. The evening was filled with inspiration as each author shared their stories, experiences, and literary contributions. The authors were:
- Cecelia Summers
- Monica Briggs Anderson
- Dr. Clarice Ottley
- Shirlene Roberts Harris
- Linda Marshall
- Alexandra Barlow
- Jeanice Brown Thomas
Among the distinguished authors was Alexandra Barlow, a young author whose children’s book, The Noisy Leaves, has been selected as the Book of the Month for April. This heartwarming story is sure to captivate young readers, making it a perfect choice for children and grandchildren alike.
