The only 2026 Mid Atlantic solo concert by the Pulitzer Prize winning composer will take place Hood College Hudson Auditorium in Rosenstock Hall later this month.
Anthony Davis has been in the forefront of American music for 50 years. In addition to being the preeminent American composer of operas – he won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for The Central Park Five – he is a virtuoso pianist, steeped in the tradition of Ellington and Monk. This will be his only solo concert in the Mid Atlantic region this year.
