Sound Lounge Collective recently brought Frederick’s creative community together for an evening focused on music, connection, and collaboration at Sky Stage. Founded by Jazlyn Sligh, Sound Lounge Collective creates spaces for artists, musicians, and creatives to build meaningful relationships, share ideas, and explore what collaboration looks like within the local music scene. Described as a music industry networking clubhouse designed as a collaborative space for entrepreneurial-minded artists to grow through community, education, and shared creative experiences, the collective works to provide emerging artists with access, opportunities, and connections to help them be seen, heard, and supported.
The event featured a lineup of local talent and creatives, creating an atmosphere that celebrated Frederick’s growing music community, featuring performances from Clive, Thomas Sligh, Elyvn, Philly D, Knox, Demetrius, and Sho’Nuff Rico, with Jazlyn Sligh serving as host.
