On the evening of October 28, 2023, New Spire Arts in Frederick, MD, was aglow with the spirit of celebration and unity as the African American Resources Cultural and Heritage (AARCH) Society and the Western Maryland Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. came together for a momentous occasion.
The event, aptly named the Unity Ball, served as a tribute to honoring the past and investing in the future of the African American community. At the heart of the celebration was the support for two vital initiatives: the creation of the AARCH Society’s Heritage Center and the Jack and Jill of America Foundation’s Historically Black College or University (HBCU) College Gap Fund.
