Frederick Solidarity for the Muslim Community

It was a shocking, heartfelt surprise to see hundreds of Frederick residents walking on 40 and arriving at the beautiful mosque on Key Parkway. The support was in response to newly-elected President Trump’s controversial executive order to ban Muslims. At glance, one would think they were protesting. But upon further review, one can see heartened signs that read unifying statements like, “coexist.” This proves to show the heart of Frederick, the true melting pot that it is, has come a long way. OUT40 stands in solidarity with the Muslim community. We hope you do too.
