The B-Dub’s Island Soul Caribbean Soul Food Block Party was held on August 17, 2024, at Urbana District Park, drawing community members from across the area. The free event, hosted by the popular food truck B-Dub’s Island Soul, featured music, family-friendly activities, and an open invitation for residents to gather in celebration.

Attendees enjoyed a menu of Caribbean and soul food
staples, including jerk chicken and Rasta pasta, lalongside upbeat music and a welcoming festival atmosphere. The event, also referred to as a “Family Fun Day,” offered activities for children while creating a space for adults to connect and enjoy the summer afternoon.
In announcing the event, organizers captured the spirit of the day: “FREE FUN, FOOD, MUSIC AND DOWN RIGHT GOOD VIBES. TRUST ME…” The turnout reflected that promise, reinforcing B-Dub’s role as more than just a food truck—it continues to serve as a cultural hub in Frederick County.
