Listen to these hot drops from local artists this week!
Zodiac Blvck just dropped the single, “Act.” This is the first track that he talks about his near-death accident in detail. It’s a song that asks the question and challenge how you would act if you experienced something life-changing. Press play.
DCDenzel told he would be making a comeback in 2019 and we’re glad to see he’s a man of his word. Teaming up with Jase Kevion of TAGMG, who we heard is executive producing his album, the two collaboraed on DcDenzel’s first track of the year, “Who Can You.” It starts off with keys that set the tone of a storyteller. Who can you trust? Dope track. Take a listen.
Maryland Boy returns with song, “Run It Up” with the classic rap bounce and cadence. The beat is what initially grabs the listener’s ear and Maryland Boy’s choice of flow compliments the track. Check it out below.
Sonny’s new single COLD was released at the top of the year.COLD was co-produced with Chicago producer Justin James. As we all know Sonny Apollo migrated to Chi-town many moons ago and grew his music base.
Listen to COLD here.
Last we heard from Vango was on his EP Roads to Riche$. In between that time he’s released the project Ground Zero and other singles. Check out his latest “Super Qualified.” It’s a fun, uptempo bop that speaks on his credentials above his peers.
