Rocqi, known as Raquelle Robinson is a Germantown native and former Thurmont resident. She partnered with her co-host Onaje with whom she attended Hampton University; both became Marriage and Family Therapist interns and together they produced the ItSoulReal podcast.

In Rocqi’s own words:
The Podcast is called It’sSoulReal and it’s for Black America. To educate us, to empower us, to unite us. We celebrate our Blackness, we discuss our challenges and really just talk about all things Black. I connected with him (Onaje) because we can discuss the Black man and the Black woman on the show as well.
Rocqi is currently in Oakland, California but hopes to reach listeners all over.
The ItsSoulReal podcast will be starting weekly in November but check out the first episode and a visual teaser!

According to the Frederick Police' Use of Force report, the department noted "no troubling trends based on any particular characteristic of race, sex, or ethnicity." However, the numbers show gender and racial disparities exist. In 2019, men were subjected to use of force more than women and black men experienced the most force overall. "There are certain people who have the magic and certain people who don’t. Just keep going. You’re gonna go through the darkness and confusion and you’re gonna figure out what it is. You can’t rush it. You just have to know you have it. You need to find you and you need to be able to make it work." - Rona Mensah
